Call for Hong Kong Student Filmmakers: Join Our Feature Film Project “Film Stylo 2026”
Are you a student filmmaker aged 14-18 based in Hong Kong? Here’s your chance to create a film that will be part of our most ambitious project yet: a feature film showcasing the diverse perspectives and creativity of Hong Kong teenagers!
About Film Stylo
Film Stylo is an innovative filmmaking initiative started by Babel Film Workshop that empowers teenagers to express themselves through the power of film. With the impressive work that we’ve seen from over 500 students in the past 5 years, we are excited to launch Film Stylo 2026 as an anthology feature film project featuring student films from each of the 18 districts in Hong Kong.
How to Participate
Whether you are an experienced filmmaker or new to filmmaking, you are encouraged to create a film for Film Stylo 2026. This year, participation is open to any student between the ages of 14-18 enrolled in a Hong Kong high school. Participation is free of charge, and participants will receive instructions to create a 4-5 minute, personal short film based on Film Stylo guidelines.
