Filmmaking: Camera Shots

Want your child to make entertaining films? Film is one of the world’s most popular forms of entertainment, but children rarely know how to make them, which means they miss out on an important form of creativity. In this activity, students will be introduced to the exciting world of filmmaking by creating a mini film using different camera techniques. This term, they will:

  • Learn creative ways of using camera shots in a film

  • Storyboard, film, act in and edit a mini film

  • Feel inspired to tell stories using technology

  • Work with teachers who have professional filmmaking experience

No prior experience or specialized equipment are required. Parents/guardians are invited to a Showcase on the last class. The films may also be nominated at the Babel Film Awards. Limited to 12 students only, so enroll now to not miss out on the fun of filmmaking!

AI Creator: Animated Story

Want your child to be creative with AI? AI is an increasingly important part of our lives, but students rarely get to use it creatively, which means they will not understand how technology can benefit, instead of replace, their human creativity. In this activity, students will be introduced to the exciting world of creative AI by creating an animated animated story video. This term, they will:

  • Learn how to use AI to generate animated videos based on their creative writing

  • Create a video with AI-generated visuals that tell a story

  • Feel confident in using new technology creatively

  • Work with teachers who have professional experience in creative industries

New and continuing students are welcome, and no prior experience or specialized equipment are required. Limited to 12 students only, so enrolled now to not miss out on the fun of being an AI creator!
