Film is one of the world’s most popular forms of entertainment, but children rarely know how to make them, which means they miss out on an important form of creativity. In this activity, students will be introduced to the exciting world of filmmaking by creating a mini film using different techniques. Over 3 hours, they will:
Learn creative ways of filming basic shots
Storyboard, film, act in and edit a mini film
Feel inspired to tell stories using technology
Work with teachers who have professional filmmaking experience
