Want your child to be an engaging writer? People today watch more videos than they read books, but students rarely learn how to write effectively for the visual medium, which means they miss out on a important form of creative writing. In this camp, students will experience the exciting world of creative writing by turning their superhero stories into videos. This Summer, they will:
Learn writing, voice-over narration, and video-making techniques to engage audiences
Write and create videos about an original superhero story
Feel inspired to express their creativity through writing
Work with teachers who have professional experience in creative writing for media
No prior experience or specialized equipment are required. Parents/guardians are invited to a Showcase on the last class. Limited to 12 students only and available just once a year, so enroll now to not miss out on the fun of creative writing for media!
