Want your child to perform confidently in front of a camera? Students today appear on screens more than ever, but rarely know how to act on camera, which means they miss out on a highly relevant form of performing arts. In this course, students will be introduced to the exciting world of acting for movies by performing in a superhero-themed project using motion capture technology. This summer, they will:
Learn acting techniques used in special effects movies
Create on-screen motion capture performances using AI
Feel confident in performing in front of cameras
Work with teachers who have professional screen acting experience
No prior experience or specialized equipment are required. Parents/guardians are invited to a Showcase on the last class. Limited to 8 students only, so enroll now to not miss out on the fun of acting for movies!
