Short Film Production

Want to learn how to create a short film that tells a story? Many students today have access to the technology used in filmmaking, but don’t know how to create actual films with them. In this after-school activity, students will learn how to tell stories on screen using the crafts of screenwriting, directing, cinematography, acting, and editing. Students will develop the creative and practical skills of creating a short film that communicates a story effectively to audiences. Each term, students will produce 1 short film and behind-the-scenes video, to be presented at a Premiere during the last class.
