Short Film Incubation is a comprehensive and hands-on program for students to lead the creation of an industry-level short film over a school year. It is designed for students who are interested in film and media, and want to be involved in a professional short film production outside of school.
Through this unique experience, students can expect to:
Gain an in-depth understanding of how professional films are made
Collaborate with professional filmmakers and actors
Receive a professional credit on a short film
Learn to use advanced filmmaking equipment and software
Attend masterclass workshops in specific film crafts
Gan insights on the film industry, jobs, and career paths
The Incubation program will take students on an unparalleled student filmmaking adventure throughout the school year to cover rarely addressed topics such as budgeting, casting, color grading, and more, resulting in a professionally made student short film each year.
How Can You Be Involved?
Short Film Incubation will launch in the 2023-2024 school year with Term 1 beginning in September 2023. Enrollments will open in early June 2023, with limited spots available. To receive priority enrollment and updates on the program, please enter your email below.
